The loss of my animals is a loss which is so severe that It always feels that I will never be able to get over it.

I mourn my animal babies like I would mourn the loss of a close family member.   Each of them has touched my heart and my soul and will always be a part of me.

Each animal has its own personality, their own sounds and if a person can't understand it, then they never truly loved that animal in their life.  An animal is never just a guard dog or object or status symbol.  For me they are family and are treated as part of the family.

MY CATS

SHEBA

My first pet after leaving the home of my parents.  She was a scared  little rescue cat who  hid away when strangers or family visited.  I loved how she would sit on the bath tub, keeping me company while I bathed.

Unfortunately, no photo is available.

THE LEGENDS SMOKEY, AKA  SMOKEROO

--/12/2001 - 18/12/2011

He made me fall in love with Maine coons.

He brought me sticks as gifts (all sizes) and stole a cactus from the neighbour. He loved following me on walk and moaned if I walked too fast.

URSHULLA SKY BEYROUTH

10/07/2016 - 14/05/2018

My wild tiger and owl cat combined in one.

I loved her speed and agility and how she enjoyed the highest trees and her climbing skills.

I loved her obsession with my wet hair after my morning shower.

CRYSTAL, aka SNOOPY

 10/09/2008 - 22/03/2018

Snoopy who was afraid of almost anything.  Thunder, vacuum cleaner, and in the first few days, a bicycle and walking on a lead.   Cats always loved grooming her.

She had the energy and build of a racing dog and could never talk "softly".  She loved her walks in the end, after overcoming most of her fears.

ESTERIA XMNI, aka SOEKIE

 29/08/2006 - 29/06/2018

Soekie loved all baby kittens and puppies and was very protective around any small creature she would find.  She was very brave and would attack any animal that would threaten her animal or human family.  She showed her teeth when smiling which was so strange.

Smurfie24April2017.jpg

TMMY, aka SMURFIE

 26/06/2005 - 24/04/2017

Smurfie, who survived a electrocution.  He chased a mouse and bit the electrical cords behind the fridge.  My dad brought him back to life and he lived another 4-5 years.  He was very laid back and easy going except around his food....   then he was the "man of the house" and the cats and dogs respected his space.

SHANTI

 11/02/2007 - 22/07/2019

She was our tiniest and cutest Yorkie and a full sister of our biggest Yorkie, Snoopy.    She adored attention and making friends with everyone.  (persons and animals)  The sweetest personality and the longest tongue in the universe.   The only thing she was scared of was her photo being taken.

MY BIRDS

During the day they were outside, not caged and could enjoy flying over the farm.
During the night I brought them in, and they were caged for their safety.

SKY

Wings was designed for him.

What a joy it was to see him spread out his wings, fly and dive and just enjoy his freedom and flight.

I just love the idea that they had their freedom and in night was safely in a cage.

Sharing bath time was also a highlight.

SMEAGOL

He had such a strong personality, and everything I touched he claimed as his own.

Even my cat was scared of him.

My naughty boy who loved destroying my plants especially when I watch him and keep saying, "NO"

He impressed me with his talking ability and his knowledge of songs.
